At 9pm EST on the first Monday of each month, Drs. Laila Woc-Coburn, Todd McCarty, Ilhan Schwartz and I host a one-hour worldwide Infectious Diseases journal club using the twitter account @IDJClub and the hashtag #IDJClub. Together with ID experts and trainees from across the world, we review an impactful recent paper, posing questions and polls to the audience that stimulate thoughtful critique and give insight into what the global community really thinks about new ID research. ID and non-specialist clinicians, researchers, patients - everyone is invited to participate.
